Tony Oldham "ADO" (85) passed away March 15, 2025, after a short illness. Author of numerous caving books and guides, and editor of The British Caver, he was a generous supporter of caving libraries. No funeral; a celebration of his life will be held at the Hunters pub. Details to follow.

The caves of Bowland don’t attract too much attention – however a visit to Whitewell Pot, Whitewell Cave and Hell Hole, all in one day, is an excellent day out particularly when the weather is nice and you can enjoyably walk between them.
