MCG annual dinner invite this Saturday
This mail is full of dates for your diary.
The MCG is offering one of our members a free invite to their annual dinner at the Mendip Coaching Inn. They can bring a guest for a modest £20 extra.
Saturday – Help at Mitcheldean Quarry
GSS have have been doing voluntary rope access work to help clear vegetation from this interesting geological site that exposes Silurian aged limestone. Before spring growth takes over GSS would very much appreciate help for a further visit from any other member club people who are available and want to have a good workout and SRT practice. The suggested dates are either or both Thursday 27th March or Saturday 29th, meeting at 1.30pm. Is anyone available please?
Working Weekend – 10th May
Join us at the Belfry on May 10th for a productive working weekend! All skill levels are welcome – we'll have tasks for everyone. Let's work together to make a difference!
SMCC annual dinner – 17th May
The SMCC would like to invite a BEC member to be their guest at Mendip Golf Club. Additional places if required are £34 and coach travel available.
If you would like to represent the BEC then please let us know.
Cave the Sun – May 31st
Another date for your diary. This time an all day event being organised by the CSCC with a party in the village hall in the evening. This will be a ticketed evening event complete with hog roast and beer.

BEC Summer BBQ – 28th June
Put this date in your diary for an eveing of entertainment. The SMCC won the Wessex Challenge three years ago and have passed the event over to the BEC to run this year.
We are in the early planning stages and it promises to be an event you don't want to miss (unless of course you're at Glastonbury).
