Trip over? Don’t let the tackle vanish into the abyss! Leaving kit lying around is a one-way ticket to gear rot and "where’s-my-ladder?" hassle. Give those ropes and bags some TLC: dry them, check them, and pack them away. A little post-trip respect saves a massive headache later!

Join the Barchon Caving Technical Route this April 24–26! From zip lines to waist-deep "pools," conquer 2,000m of subterranean chaos at the Fort. Camp on-site, grab a brew at the cafeteria, and test your grit.

Belfry Gas
The Belfry runs on a 4-cylinder LPG system. Last weekend, we hit "empty" because three cylinders were swapped without a word! We’re not mind-readers, and finding gas out-of-hours is a total faff.
The Golden Rule: If you swap it, report it! Tell the Hut Warden immediately so we can restock. Don’t leave us—and your next meal —in the cold.
