Hi there,

North Wales March 20-22
Mines and hillwalking galore! We have booked the Llansannan Activity Centre with plenty of space for those interested. Plentiful above ground activities to go at, but we also hope to visit Milwr and Great Orme, with the number of spaces yet to be confirmed. If you are interested, please get in touch with the caving secretary in the usual way. Please note, no pets are allowed on site.

Mendip Digging Awards
…and the winner is:
Longwood Valley Sink. LVS is now 1,000m in length, 126m deep and unusually for a Mendip cave offers 13 pitches, the biggest being Colossus at 37m. The cave is too wet and flood prone to work safely in the winter months.
White Rabbit came second

Whitewalls January 16-18
This trip is now full – if you would like to be put on the waiting list, please contact the caving secretary.

BCA Membership emails
The BCA will soon be sending out renewal reminder emails regarding your BCA membership / insurance.
All BEC members have to be paid-up BCA members, but you can pay your BCA fees to a caving club (such as the BEC!) to arrange membership for you, or get it direct from BCA.
You only have to pay BCA fees to the BCA if you have decided to get direct membership.
If you are already paying for BCA through the BEC (or another club), you don't need to pay twice. If you're not sure, you've probably got it through the BEC. If you want to check, see your subs reminder email, or ask the Membership Secretary.
